###if you played A grade last season please attend this grading time####
Grading for 2019 has been set! Pencil it into your diaries.
- The aim of grading is to ensure that your child/ren are placed in a team of similarly skilled players.
- Grading is compulsory and takes place during the specified session.
- Players are graded on performance and potential demonstrated in drills and match play and by guided on coaches’ grading notes from the previous season/s.
Teams are put together by experienced WNC graders (coaches and committee members). At times your child/ren may be placed in a team with other children he/she may not know. Even though this can be quite daunting we have found that children and parents do discover new friendships and they have fun.
Please note that players are not always selected to play a particular position in a team, however we do ask all players for their preferred playing positions. (This does not apply to Net Set Go, as they play all positions on a roster basis each week throughout the game).
As a club, we conduct the grading and place players in teams and then we submit our teams along with a recommended grade for the team to Illawarra District Netball Association. The Association then conduct a full paper grade with all Club teams submitted and based on that information our teams are then graded by the Association.
